[Hced] Off-Street Parking Ratio for Commercial Uses

The City of Riverside is interested in finding out if other cities have
considered a serious examination of the parking standards applicable to
commercial uses to reduce the oversupply of parking.  Generally,
commercial uses are required to adhere to parking ratios which in many
instances have resulted in plentiful supply of parking that is only
needed to accommodate occasional peaks in demand.

What is the parking ratio your city requires?   Does the parking ratio
seem to work during high traffic periods without creating a sea of
asphalt during low parking demand?
