Welcome to the League’s listserve for Planning and Community Development Directors. This listserve is designed to foster communication and networking opportunities' for California's City Planning and Community Development Directors. This listserve includes an archive of all of the questions asked by the group's members. The address for the group list is development_directors@lists.cacities.org. The following are some basic guidelines for requesting and replying to requests for information via the Development Directors e-mail group. Who are you? Please be sure to include your name, city and telephone number in your listserve request. Also, if it is likely that replies will come to you in a hard copy form, be sure to include your fax number and mailing address. Requesting information? Please place the topic of your request in the subject line of the e-mail, so that members can determine quickly if it is a topic of interest to them. Decorum. Please be polite and respectful. Listserve content. The League is not responsible for the content posted to the listserve and encourages users to conduct their own evaluations. No advertising. Please keep our listserves “commercial free.” Access. Access to listserves may be denied at the League's sole discretion. Reporting a problem. If you see anything that violates our rules, please direct us to the posting with an explanation. Using Development_directors

To post a message to all the list members, send email to development_directors@lists.cacities.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.

Subscribing to Development_directors

Subscribe to Development_directors by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name & City/Company (required):   NOTE: If you do not provide your name and City or Company your subscription may be removed at any time with out notice. You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from altering your subscription. Since you may occassionally receive a message with your password, do not use a password you want to be truly secure as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.  If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
